A Darien Police detective on the lookout for wallet thieves at the Darien Trader Joe's nabbed two men who allegedly stole a woman's wallet and several cell phones. The incident took place around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10 at Trader Joe's at 436 Post Road. Trader Joe's has announced the opening date for its new location in Connecticut. The grocery store chain said the ribbon-cutting for the new store in the Hartford County town of Glastonbury will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2. The store, located at 400 Hebron Ave., will be the chain's ninth location in the state. Trader Joe's said hiring efforts for the Glastonbury store are currently underway. Trader Joe's is coming to Prince George's. The neighborhood grocery chain announced earlier this month they have selected a ground-level location in College Park at 4429 Calvert Road.
