Norman Thomas Senior, 47, of Harrisburg, first led the police on a bicycle chase when they attempted to arrest him on a warrant for violating Megan's Law by failing to register his address with state police near the intersection of North Front and Verbeke streets. Bridge Jumper Rescued From Susquehanna River: Officials
A man was pulled from the Susquehanna River Saturday, May 14 in Harrisburg, fire officials said. The man had jumped into the river from the Market Street bridge, bringing Box 9 to the scene with mutual aid boats, the fire department said. The victim was brought to City Island and turned over to Life Team EMS. The "A" Platoon at work with Battalion 6(Bradford), fire officials said.

A body has been found in the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, according to emergency dispatchers. The body was spotted in the river near Middletown around noon on Monday, Apr. 18, according to Dauphin County Emergency management. Rescue crews were called to the scene to assist with retrieving the body from the water. The coroner was requested and Pennsylvania state police are investigating. A man's body was found in the Susquehanna River on Monday afternoon, according to a report by PennLive. The "badly decomposed" body was found along the north side of the river near Hiller Road in Fairfield Township east of Montoursville, according to the report citing Montoursville Fire Chief Scott Konkle. Female Fisherman Dies After Boat Capsizes In Susquehanna River
A female fisherman died after the boat she was on capsized in the Susquehanna River Friday night, authorities said. The boat's occupants, all from Duncannon, were fishing near the York Haven Hydro Station when the vessel capsized near 111 Collins Road in Conoy Township just after 8:50 p.m., Susquehanna Regional Police Department said. A 5-year-old boy has been pronounced dead by the Lancaster County Coroner four hours after he went missing along the Susquehanna River on Sunday. A search for the boy was launched in the area of the Falmouth boat access in Bainbridge on Sunday afternoon after the boy’s mother contacted local police.
