A Queens motorist who went to Oakland police headquarters to pick up an unlicensed Fair Lawn friend after his car was impounded was driving on the suspended list himself – and had an active warrant, said authorities who arrested him. Michael McClay, 53, had his vehicle impounded after Officer Jacob Martin discovered during a traffic stop Sunday that his license was suspended, Lt. Christian Eldridge said Tuesday. A woman who gave officers a false identification has been charged in connection to a two-vehicle fatal crash on Long Island. It happened at around 9:48 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14 in Suffolk County. Rose Mastrodomenico, 90, of Calverton, was driving a 2014 Nissan eastbound on Route 25A when she attempted to enter the parking lot of The Wading River Medical Center at 271 Route 25A in Wading River when her vehicle was struck by a westbound 2006 Jeep. A 32-year-old Franklin man was charged with a DWI after nearly hitting a borough police officer conducting a traffic stop, authorities said. A driver with a suspended license briefly lost Wyckoff police during what was supposed to be a traffic stop -- then was caught a short time later.An officer tried to stop the vehicle as it turned off Route 208 but lost sight of the car, which ended up at the Cedar Hill shopping center, Lt.
