An area woman was allegedly driving drunk after being busted by police driving on the wrong side of the road in Greenwich. Officers on patrol at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday morning stopped Norwalk resident Maria Carmela Morales-Gramajo near the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Apache Place after she was spotted driving in the wrong lane on East Putnam Avenue. New York State Police troopers busted a man from Putnam County for his third DWI during a stop on Route 202 in Somers. Troopers stopped Carmel resident George Gojcaj, 45, at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, after he made a violation while driving on Route 202. Police said that further investigation determined that Gojcaj was driving while under the influence of alcohol, and with a suspended license.
