At 5:16 p.m., the suspects entered a barbershop on the 900 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. said. Philip Walker, 58, of Mastic, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the death of Jimmy Vaughn.
