Daniel Santos, 49, and Natalie Sarkissian, 34, were arrested Thursday, Sept. 4, after investigators linked Santos to a theft that followed a car crash on Orange Avenue in Suffern on Aug. 26, according to Mahwah Police Capt. Michael Blondin.

Donald Hopkins of Suffern was arrested on Saturday, June 21, and charged with public lewdness and forcible touching in connection with the incident, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, June 24.

Two New York men wanted in separate violent crimes were tracked down last month in Bergen County, thanks to the county's newly-launched Crime Suppression Team, authorities said.
The first arrest was made on Saturday, Dec. 21, when members of the team identified 51-year-old Randolph R. Smith of Far Rockaway, NY, who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in New York City, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Police have identified the person struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train on Tuesday morning, Oct. 1.
Tameko Joseph, 42, of Hackensack, was struck by Bergen County Line train 1154 near the Garfield Station, near Outwater Lane, just before 7:50 a.m., a spokesperson for the agency said.
The train had left Suffern, N.Y. at 7:09 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Hoboken at 8:14 a.m.
