Teen Hit, Killed By Tractor-Trailer Walking Along I-91 In Western Mass
Police are investigating after a tractor-trailer hit and killed a 19-year-old man on Monday, July 29, in Hampshire County. The teenager was walking on I-91 in Northampton near the southbound on-ramp of Damon Road/Bridge Street rotary just before 10 p.m. when he was struck, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Boat Driver Left Scene Of Crash That Injured Four People Near South Jersey Park, Troopers Say
Four people were hospitalized after a boat crashed near an Atlantic County park, officials said. In a Facebook post, the Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company said it responded to a marine rescue near Estell Manor Park in Mays Landing at around 5:42 p.m. on Sunday, July 28. A 41-year-old Springfield man died after he crashed his car trying to evade a traffic stop, authorities said. The crash happened just after 2:20 a.m. Friday, July 26, on Route 291 near Exit 4 in Springfield. A State Trooper attempted to pull over a 2013 Infinity G37 after it drifted over the line. An elderly man was found at an Atlantic County golf course overnight after he went missing for several hours in severe weather, authorities said. In a news release, Egg Harbor Township police said 85-year-old Mu Lee was reunited with his family at around 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17. Authorities in Hampden County have identified the victim of a fatal crash last week on I-91 as a 15-year-old boy. State police were called to the crash site around 4:30 p.m. near northbound Exit 5 on July 2, authorities said. An Atlantic City man accused of attempted murder will spend several years in prison for a conviction on a separate gun charge, authorities said.
