While attempting a wellness check, the man made threats to harm officers, police said. The city said this is due to an increase in watercraft on the Hackensack River and to provide service for boaters. Peeping Tom Peering Into Secaucus Apartment Popped By Police An Essex County man was arrested in Secaucus after police said he was seen peering into an apartment window on the evening of Sunday, April 30. Jason Rosario, a 30-year-old Belleville resident, was spotted on scene by officers and began to run, police said.  He got into a car and police initiated a traffic stop, where he was later arrested and charged with attempted burglary and criminal trespass, officers said.  He was transferred to Hudson County Jail, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
