A woman was rescued from a garbage truck in Allentown after being dumped into it while sleeping inside a dumpster, according to officials. Allentown Fire Department crews were dispatched to 2nd Street and West Hamilton Street shortly before 4:15 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, after receiving a call about a person trapped inside a trash truck, the department said in a news release.
