A 27-minute video posted by a YouTuber who calls himself a constitutional activist and investigative journalist is under investigation by the Union County Prosecutor's Office. The YouTuber, identified only as Sean from Long Island Audit, explains at in the video that he was exercising a "constitutional right" at the Rahway Motor Vehicle Commission Center when he was confronted by security. The man killed in a crash on Interstate 295 after his car became disabled was a new father, according to co-workers. Giovanni Adames, 30, of Rahway, was northbound in Greenwich Township in Gloucester County near milepost 16.6 when he crashed with an unknown vehicle, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. NJ Dog Training Center Ordered Shut After Videos Showing Disturbing Animal Abuse Surface
A Rahway dog training center has been ordered shut after videos showing workers abusing animals began surfacing on social media. Bubba Luv Dog Training and Rescue, located on Main Street, was issued a notice to vacate based on violations of uniform construction code, Mayor Raymond Giacobbe said. Members of the health department conducted and inspection and examined all dogs at the facility, the mayor added, noting the animals were in good condition. Five men are behind bars and a large quantity of crack sits in an Essex County evidence locker after police raided a Newark home early Tuesday, Jan. 17, authorities say. A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder in the weekend killing of the 44-year-old victim in Union County, authorities said. A 44-year-old Roselle man was shot and killed in broad daylight over the weekend in Rahway, authorities said. Jack Harris was found suffering gunshot wounds on the 1400 block of Witherspoon Avenue around 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement. Discovery Of Hand Grenade Brings Bomb Squad To Union County Business
A worker at a trucking company was cleaning a vehicle when he found a hand grenade, drawing a large police presence Tuesday, Oct. 25, authorities confirmed. The explosive device was found by a worker at Marine Cargo on New Brunswick Avenue in Rahway, and the company's owner reported it to Rahway police around 11:45 a.m., local police said. The bomb squad responded and found the device to be inert. The device had been left in the truck by a former employee, who will not be charged, Rahway police said.
