Missing Plainfield Teen Connor Oldfield Found Dead In Brook, Officials Confirm
A 19-year-old New Jersey man with autism who had been reported missing since January has been found deceased, city officials announced Thursday, Feb. 19.
The body of Connor Oldfield, who was reported missing on Saturday, Jan. 24, was found in the Green Brook near the Roosevelt Avenue bridge, according to the City of Plainfield and the Plainfield Police Department.

A police officer fired his weapon at a dog who had bitten a 17-year-old girl and then lunged at the officer in Bogota last week, authorities said.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, Bogota police responded to a dog attack at the intersection of Palisades Avenue and Linwood Avenue, where they found a 17-year-old female who'd been bitten by a dog, according to Jeff Angermeyer, Chief of Detectives for the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
