A pregnant Lancaster County mom had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit when she struck another vehicle head-on, killing her 11-year-old son, authorities said.Jennifer Johnson, 35, of Manheim Township, was charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI, aggravated assault of an unborn child and several other offenses stemming from the Lititz Pike crash on Feb. 23, Manheim police announced.

An area man was arrested on a warrant by police just minutes after he had been released from prison for an event last year in which he allegedly attempted to choke a pregnant woman.
Michael J. Rhodes III, 23, of Catskill in Greene County, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 5, for an incident which took place on Monday, June 15 in Ulster County, said Saugerties Chief of Police Joseph A. Sinagra.
