A Boston man is awaiting a dangerousness hearing after he was charged with beating a pregnant woman and assaulting an infant, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Marvin De La Cruz, age 23, attacked and strangled the woman, who is two months pregnant, while she was sleeping in her bedroom in Dorchester on Saturday, June 25, the office reports. A man from the region is accused of physically assaulting a pregnant woman during a domestic dispute. Ulster County resident Enrique Plaza, age 29, of Saugerties was arrested on multiple charges stemming from the altercation at a home on Livingston Street, Saugerties Police said. Officers were called to the residence shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday, May 29, with reports of a physical domestic dispute. A 32-year-old pregnant mom was murdered in her home in central Pennsylvania, according to a release by the coroner's office. Tamarra Deloache, 32, of York, was found dead in a home in the first block of North State Street at midnight on Wednesday, May 18, according to the county coroner's office. The York City police were called to "an unknown problem" when they arrived to discover the woman's body, the police said in a release later that morning. Authorities have identified the pregnant woman who gave birth and then died after being shot in a vehicle in Baltimore. Angel Morgan Heather Smith, 38, and the man were rushed to the hospital after being shot around 8:15 p.m. on the 300 block of E. 23rd Street, police said. The man was immediately pronounced dead. Missing Pregnant Teenager Sought By Police In Pennsylvania
A teenage girl-- who is pregnant-- has been reported as missing, according to a release by police. Loritta Smith, 16, of Carlisle, is seven months pregnant, and has not been seen since she left her family's home on Monday night, according to a release by Carlisle police. Smith did not attend school on Tuesday, according to the release. No description or information on where the police are searching was released.
