A New York woman assaulted police officers when they came to arrest her for public drunkenness, police say.
Palmyra police were called to reports of an intoxicated female repeatedly blowing a car horn and yelling outside in the 100 block of North Lincoln Street on Sunday, Feb., 6 just after midnight, according to a release by police.
Police arrived to find Shyana Ramos, 19, of Staten Island, New York, "visibly intoxicated," police stated in the release and according to court documents.

Man, Woman Nabbed In Western Mass In Stolen Vehicle, Police Say
Two people were arrested in Western Massachusetts in connection with an alleged stolen vehicle.
Herbert Smith, age 46, of Worcester, and Rachel Keating, age 34, of Springfield, were arrested on Friday, July 16, after police received a GPS location on a vehicle in Ludlow that had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
When officers arrived on the scene of where the vehicle was located a the Big Y Plaza, Smith and Keating were inside the vehicle, the Ludlow Police said.
Following an investigation, both were arrested for theft of the vehicle, police said.
