Here's How Many In Westchester, Putnam Are Now Without Power After Storm Sweeps Through
Thousands of Westchester and Putnam residents lost power after storms brought heavy rain and strong wind to the region overnight.
As of 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, Con Edison is responding to 161 reported outages, which were impacting 3,199 of its 348,198 customers in Westchester. NYSEG is dealing with 2,271 of its 32,806 customers who were without power.
In Putnam County, 2,709 of NYSEG’s 38,310 customers were still left in the dark, while Central Hudson was responding to outages impacting 266 of their 5,153 customers in the county.

Four Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
More than a dozen motorists were removed from the road by New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley this past weekend.

On Friday, April 26, State Police from Hawthorne arrested Derek C. O’Donnell, 40, of Yorktown, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, when he was involved in a three-car personal injury motor vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
