Pennsylvania residents and licensees have until Friday, Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. to register for a limited-release lottery featuring 3,705 bottles of rare and highly sought-after bourbons and whiskeys, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced.
Through Fine Wine & Good Spirits, the PLCB is running nine separate lotteries covering 10 products — including bottles priced from $59.99 to $7,499.99. Participants can enter one, several, or all lotteries, but each household is limited to one entry per lottery, and duplicate entries will be disqualified.

A convicted York sex offender who twice bolted to Mexico to dodge child pornography charges has been caught — again — after years on the run, U.S. Marshals announced Thursday, Aug. 7.
Harrison Michael Rineholt, 51, was wanted by the York County Sheriff’s Office since Aug. 11, 2023, for bail violations tied to child pornography and failing to provide accurate sex offender registration information, according to officials. A New York man who stabbed his mother and stepfather to death on Independence Day 2023 will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Anthony Lewis Jr., 33, of Rotterdam, was sentenced Wednesday, July 30, in Schenectady County Court to life without parole, followed by an additional 3½ to 7 years for related charges.
A jury convicted Lewis in May of murdering his mother, Cathy Ayala-Guillaume, and his stepfather, Robert Guillaume, at their Fern Avenue home in Rotterdam on July 4, 2023. He then lingered in the house for more than a day before fleeing in his stepfather’s car, prosecutors said.
