Man ID'd After Fatal Tree Fall On House In Cumberland County: Coroner A 45-year-old Central Pennsylvania man died after a tree fell on his home early Monday morning. Scott Quickel has been identified as the man killed in this tragic tree fall, the Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall told Daily Voice. I-78 Crash: Multi-Vehicle Accident In Northampton County Multiple cars were involved in a wreck on Interstate 78 near Hellertown on Friday afternoon, Feb. 16, according to PennDOT.  It happened between Exit 67 to Hellertown/Bethlehem and Exit 60B to South 4th Street, the department said.  A lane restriction is in effect as of 2:50 p.m., officials said. Pedestrian 'Incident' On I-81 At Maryland Border Clears: PennDOT Part of Interstate 81 shut down in Central Pennsylvania on Friday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.  The "pedestrian-related incident" happened at mile marker 1 on Sept. 22 shortly before 7:40 a.m., Schreffler detailed to Daily Voice.  The southbound lanes closed between exit 3 to Molly Pitcher Highway and the Maryland border, according to PennDOT.  The roadway reopened shortly after 9 a.m. "No more information will be released at this time," Schreffler said.
