A former town supervisor in the area has died at the age of 56. Paul Hansut, who served as supervisor in the Town of Lloyd in Ulster County, died on Saturday, July 17. A retired FDNY firefighter from the area who responded to the 9/11 terrorist attack along with his older brother who was killed that day, has died from an illness related to his work at Ground Zero.
