Man Used $1,200 In Fake $100 Bills At Leonia CVS: Police
A Queens man is accused of using counterfeit cash to buy gift cards at a Bergen County CVS, authorities said.
Davante L. Sconiers-Miller, 30, of Queens, New York, was arrested on Tuesday, April 28, on charges of forgery and possession of counterfeit currency, according to Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny.
The incident began on Tuesday, April 14, at approximately 9 a.m., when an Sconiers-Miller entered the CVS at 410 Broad Avenue in Leonia and made three separate gift card purchases before leaving the store, Tamagny said.

Woman, 81, Killed As Passenger In Freehold Township Crash
A Monroe Township woman was killed in a crash in Freehold, authorities said.
Gloria Tucker, 81, died in the crash on Thursday, Aug. 29, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said. Freehold Township police responded to the wreck on Wemrock Road near Route 33 Business at around 2:24 p.m.
Investigators said Tucker was a passenger in the two-vehicle crash. She was survived by her husband, their two sons, and four grandchildren, according to her obituary from DeMarco Funeral Home.
