Mass AG Files Brief In Texas Suit To Let Women Leave State For Abortion
Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey joined other Democrat state attorneys generals to file an amicus brief in a class action lawsuit that seeks to nullify portions of Texas' new abortion law. The law is considered one of the strictest in the nation. It blocks women from seeking to end a pregnancy six weeks after conception. Women don't often know they are pregnant at that point. A Burlington County teacher and youth pastor has been indicted for coaxing underage boys on social media to send him nude pictures and videos, then using that material to blackmail his victims into performing sexual acts on themselves for his enjoyment, authorities said.
