Underage Drunk Lititz Man Goes Over 100 MPH In 35 Zone Ejecting Three Passengers, Police Say
A 20-year drunk man going 108 miles per hour in a marked 35 zone, sheared off a utility pole and ejected his three passengers, authorities announced in a release on Friday, January 27. Spencer James Campbell of Lititz told the police he "lost control while negotiating a curve in the roadway and hit a utility pole. Campbell did drink alcoholic beverages and has a medical marijuana card. His eyes were glassy during this conversation," according to the release by Manheim Township police. Driver Who Fell Asleep At The Wheel In Lititz Hospitalized: Police
A woman who fell asleep at the wheel in Lititz has been hospitalized, police say. The police were called to a crash in the 400 Block of West Lincoln Avenue on January 18, 2023, around 3:13 p.m. The woman drove off the roadway, and "struck a large rock adjacent to the road" and her car "overturned onto its roof," the police say. The woman was hospitalized but her injuries were non-life-threatening, authorities say. No other injuries were reported.

Necklace Used To Choke Lititz Robbery Victim, Police Say
A man was choked with a necklace he was wearing while someone robbed him on Monday, January 16, authorities say. The man told police in Lititz that he was walking along the 200 block of Landis Valley Road when he was approached by another man he didn't know who asked him for a lighter around 10 p.m. That man then "grabbed and removed a pendant necklace by force from around the victim's neck," and robbed him, as stated in the release. Sinkhole Opens Up, Closing Roads In Central Pennsylvania
A sinkhole has opened up closing a major roadway in Lititz, authorities say. The Lititz Borough Public Works is repairing the sinkhole which was discovered on Wednesday, Dec. 7 around 7:00 a.m., according to a release by the area police. The hole is on Raspberry Lane near the intersection of East Orange Street. Raspberry Lane has been closed from East Orange Street to Lock-up Lane.
