A Virginia woman is facing a felony charge in connection with an alleged hit-and-run crash that killed a Netflix star on Long Island.
Amanda Kempton, 32, of Fairfax, Virginia, was indicted on one count of leaving the scene of an incident resulting in death, in Suffolk County Court on Monday, Oct. 20.
Kempton allegedly struck 40-year-old Sara Burack around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, while driving a Toyota Highlander westbound on West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, according to prosecutors.
