Louis Santiago, a 26-year-old Bloomfield resident and former Newark police officer, was sentenced to five years in prison for fatally striking a pedestrian while driving drunk and then driving home with the victim's body in his car, authorities said.

The search for Corey McFadden has come to a tragic end.
The body of the missing 33-year-old postal worker, who was reported missing by co-workers on Monday, May 1, was recovered approximately a mile off the Sandy Hook coast after being spotted by a fisherman on Monday, May 22, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.

Police in two towns seek the public's help with a missing person investigation.
Corey McFadden, 33, of Lower Township was reported missing by co-workers on Monday, May 1, after not showing up for work, Lower Township police said.

A 36-year-old woman from Virginia has admitted driving under the influence during a fatal crash in Ocean County, authorities said.
Michelle Roselli, of Spotsylvania County, Virginia, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, April 26, to vehicular homicide, assault by auto and DUI, they said.
