Mason Ryder Langlais filled 12 short years with more courage and light than many people manage in a lifetime.
At age 3, Langlais was diagnosed with Dyskeratosis Congenita, a rare genetic disorder that prevents the formation of bone marrow, according to family friend Kaelyn Rhodes, who has been actively fundraising for his parents.
The Front Royal, Virginia native received a bone marrow transplant at the age of 4, and a liver transplant at the age of 9, she said.
