Police say a missing 12-year-old girl who got on a bus after a shopping mall visit has been found. "The missing juvenile has been located and she is safe. Thank you to everyone for their assistance," Freehold Township police said on Facebook. Natalee Perez got on a bus at the Freehold Raceway Mall about 7 p.m. on Friday. She returned home safely on Tuesday, police said.

Police in Monmouth County are seeking witnesses of a head-on crash that killed a Toms River woman on Sunday afternoon. The 85-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, died at the scene of the crash, Freehold Township police said, The driver of the other vehicle was a 42-year-old man from Freehold Township who was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, police said. A Central Jersey man is accused of stealing $1.1 million from investors, authorities said. Anthony Giordano of Freehold Township stole approximately $1,100,000 between January 2015 and July of 2018 from five victims through use of fraudulent stock purchase agreements and promissory notes, and used the funds for his own personal benefit, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. A 72-year-old man from Monroe Township was killed Wednesday after his car left the roadway and struck a tractor mowing in the median, authorities said. Marc A. Authorities: Jersey Shore Social Media Stalker Walks Free From Jail
A 26-year-old man from Neptune Township charged with stalking multiple women on social media was released from Monmouth County Jail this week on time served and good behavior, authorities said.
