A 94-year-old Marlboro resident was killed in a crash on County Road 537 in Monmouth County on the evening of Monday, March 24, authorities said. At 10:33 p.m., Sylvester Pace was driving a Lincoln Continental eastbound on County Road 537 in Millstone Township when he crossed the centerline and crashed into a Toyota Tundra, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The Lincoln then crashed the front of the Infiniti G37, Lebron said. Pace was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Millstone Man Fled To Florida After Fatally Striking, Dragging Teen With Vehicle: Prosecutor
A 23-year-old Millstone Township man has been extradited back to Monmouth County from Florida after he hit a teen with his vehicle last month and fled the scene, authorities said.
