2 Hurt In Crash After Driver Runs Stop Sign In Red Hook, Police Say
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Dutchess County after a driver failed to stop at a stop sign, police said.
The incident happened in Red Hook on Monday, Dec. 29, when officers were dispatched at around 2:45 p.m. to Linden Avenue at Rockefeller Lane, the Red Hook Police Department said on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Officers determined that a 2022 Toyota, driven westbound on Rockefeller Lane by a 39-year-old man from Kingston, failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection, police said.

A late-night crash sent one man to the hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic in Suffolk County, police announced on Monday, Dec. 29.
The collision happened on Schleigel Boulevard near Columbus Boulevard in North Amityville just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, according to Suffolk County Police.

A 26-year-old woman was killed when her vehicle slid off an icy New Jersey roadway and overturned into a pond on Saturday morning, Dec. 27, police said.
At 9:10 a.m., officers responded to West Malaga Road and Bracken Drive after a passing motorist reported the crash, Monroe Township police said.
