One Dead In Multi-Vehicle Route 30 Crash: Authorities
One person was killed in a multiple vehicle crash on Route 30 in eastern Lancaster County on Monday morning, WGAL news 8 said citing authorities. The fatal crash involved a tractor-trailer and at least one other vehicle, closing the street between Ronks and Leacock roads in East Lampeter Township shortly after the crash just after 7:40 a.m. They remained closed more than three hours later, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Boy, 15, Missing For Over 1 Week From Central PA Home
A Lancaster County teenage boy has been missing for over a week, according to East Lampeter Township Police. Michael Jackson, 15, of East Lampeter Township was last seen by family members on Sept. 19. He had been dropped off at a friend's house on Old Philadelphia Pike and never returned home. Jackson is known to have friends in East Lampeter, Leola, Millersville, Manheim Township and Lancaster City. Police do not believe the disappearance “to be a result of criminal activity at this time,” they aid in a statement released on Friday. Authorities are concerned for the teens welfare. …

Coroner IDs Body Found Behind Target In Lancaster
The human remains found behind a Target along Route 30 have been identified, according to the Lancaster County coroner. Gene Lamar Engle, 59, of Lancaster, was found behind the Target in East Lampeter Township on Wednesday June 9, according to the coroner. The autopsy was performed on June 11. His death is not thought to be suspicious and a toxicology report is pending before an official cause of death is made. The toxicology report is not expected for several weeks. The Lancaster County coroner was called to investigate the possible human remains behind the East Lampeter Township Target along Route 30 on Wednesday morning, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. East Lampeter Township police are looking for a woman who allegedly stole for the Tanger Outlets -- and then returned to do it again. The woman pictured supposedly stole over $2,000 in purses from the Kate Spade store at the Tanger Outlets on Lincoln Highway East, on Feb. 27 and March 29, according to police.
