: Man Found Unresponsive In Pool Pronounced Dead In Central PA
A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend, authorities said. The unidentified man was found in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m., Gay said. An autopsy at Lehigh Valley Hospital is scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 4.

A person was hospitalized following a dog attack in a Central Pennsylvania park, authorities announced on Friday, June 23, 2023. Armed men robbed a van at gunpoint in Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning, police announced the following day. Two women stole over $1,000 each in merchandise from a Central Pennsylvania Walmart, the police announced on Monday, June 12, 2023. Newville Dad Killed In Rt 944 Crash
A 28-year-old Central Pennsylvania dad has been identified as the person killed in a weekend Cumberland County crash. Kody Tidd, of Newville, was driving at a "high rate of speed" when he "lost control" of his vehicle on Route 944 westbound just before the Deer Lane intersection in the evening hours Saturday, June 3, 2023, Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall told Daily Voice.
