PA Man Dies After Cardiac Arrest While Driving In Jersey City: Authorities
A 61-year-old Pennsylvania man died in Jersey City after sustaining a medical emergency while driving on Monday, Nov. 24, authorities said.
At 6:26 a.m., officers observed a vehicle roll into a barrier on Halleck Avenue and Route 1 & 9, resulting in minor damage to the vehicle, Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, a spokesperson for the mayor's office said.
The driver was in lifeless condition, possibly due to cardiac arrest, Wallace-Scalcione said.
The man, who has not been identified, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Wallace-Scalcione said.

Julie A. Becker, 32, of Richland Township, was pronounced dead at 6:47 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
