A Pompton Lakes man was arrested after police say he threatened to shoot multiple patrons inside a Bloomingdale bar. On the night of Saturday, Aug. 23, Bloomingdale officers were dispatched to a local bar for a report of an unruly male who had allegedly threatened to open fire, Bloomingdale Police said in a news release. A Wanaque homeowner required EMS attention for smoke inhalation after a lithium battery ignited a fierce basement fire, authorities said. The basement on Ramapo Mountain Drive was fully involved when firefighters arrived shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, they said.
