Garfield Man Tried To Cash Phony Checks At TD Bank: Fairfield PD
Four North Jersey men have been arrested and charged following two separate fraud cases at a TD Bank in Fairfield, authorities announced, Thursday, July 24.
On Monday, July 21 at 5 p.m. officers responded to the bank at 436 Hollywood Ave. after an employee recognized Jaydin Colon, a 20-year-old Garfield resident, who had previously cashed a fraudulent check in the past at the branch, Fairfield police said.
Colon was trying to cash a $1,616.04 fraudulent arrest and he was placed under arrest, police said.

Mark Miller, a 29-year-old Bloomfield resident, left University Hospital in Newark on Friday, July 11, and is being moved to Kessler Rehabilitation Center, his father, Rob announced on Facebook. As he was loaded into a transport van, Miller was cheered on by his fellow officers.

Maya Ciprian, of Bloomfield, passed away at home late Sunday night, May 26, loved ones said on a GoFundMe campaign launched for her parents, Claudio and Tiffany.

A 21-year-old man remains missing after he left Essex County Hospital Center in Cedar Grove on Tuesday, Dec. 17, authorities said.
Timothy Robinson left the facility on Grove Avenue toward a nearby neighborhood, the Essex County Sheriff’s Office said.

Two men and a woman from North Jersey were accused of stealing more than $100,000 in business checks from Wall Township mailboxes, authorities said.
James Miller, 37, of Passaic; Kaleik Easton, 29, of Bloomfield; and Asia Harrell, 31, also from Bloomfield; were arrested, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release.
