Apartment Fire injures 3 Firefighters, Displaces 9 People In York
An apartment fire in a duplex displaced 9 people on Saturday night, according to the York city fire department. Firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of East Philadelphia Street on Saturday around 4:13 p.m. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries, according to officials. The extent of their injuries and current condition is unknown. Five of the seven apartments in the building are no longer inhabitable and have approximately $300,000 in damages. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

More than 80 residents were displaced and one resident and 17 firefighters injured during a four-alarm fire at an apartment complex in Westchester County. The fire started around 4 p.m., Sunday, May 23 on Maple Street in Yonkers. Weekend Harrisburg Fire Displaces 4 People
A Harrisburg fire displaced two adults and two children on Saturday. Crews were called to an apartment building fire in the 1100 block of North 2nd Street around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Smoke was coming from the second floor balcony facing the 200 block of Sassafras Street when crews arrived. Thanks to working smoke detectors the residents were able to escape safely.
