Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 7-Eleven on Route 50 in Wilton for a welfare check at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18. Deputies arrived to find Joseph Plummer, 35, of Galway, asleep in a vehicle at a gas pump, the agency said. He had been sleeping in the car, which had been reported stolen out of Massachusetts, for several hours, according to police.
