Norwalk Hosts Second Annual Slow Art Day
NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Arts Commission, in partnership with the Maritime Aquarium, is joining forces with more than 100 organizations around the world to participate in Slow Art Day.
The event, initiated by a group of museums in 2009, is designed to encourage people to discover the joy of art.
The Norwalk version, now in its second year, will take place on Saturday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the aquarium.

Stamford Man Pleads Guilty To Distributing Crack
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford resident Wayne Alexander, also known as “Uncle Easy,” 50, pleaded guilty Monday in Hartford federal court to one count of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine base, according to Deirdre M. Daly, U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut.
According to court documents and statements made in court, between February and April 2015, law enforcement conducted three controlled purchases of crack cocaine, totaling about 130 grams, from Alexander.
