Suspect In Custody In Yonkers Homicide YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers police have arrested a suspect in the homicide of a 50-year-old woman. Officers responded after being notified by security that a possible crime had taken place in an apartment on Schroeder Street on Saturday, Jan. 16, at approximately 12:31 p.m., officials report. A male suspect was standing by with security as responding officers arrived at the scene; he was subsequently taken into custody, according to police.
