The grandfather of two children killed in an Ocean County boating crash has been charged with vehicular homicide nearly a month after their deaths, according to court records and NJ Advance Media.

UPDATE: Police have identified the man who died while helping a friend with home maintenance.
Martin Cruz-Sanchez, 61, of Paterson, died on Thursday, Aug. 13, Clifton Police Detective Lt. Robert Anderson said.
Clifton police, firefighters, EMS crews, and hospital-based paramedics responded to a home on East 9th Street at 11:55 a.m., and learned that Cruz-Sanchez had been helping the residents with home maintenance when he became unconscious in the attic, Anderson said.
