A Paterson man drove a stolen SUV with a fake VIN to a sheriff’s office in an attempt to retrieve another stolen vehicle, authorities said. Passaic County Sheriff Thomas Adamo announced the arrest of Marcos A. Hernandez-Feliz, 23, along with two others, following a Criminal Investigation Division probe into a suspected re-VIN operation in Paterson. A 66-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle at a Bergen County intersection, authorities said Friday, April 17.
