A Georgia man has been charged in connection with a Bayonne cold case homicide dating back nearly 37 years, authorities said.
Joseph Quiros-Soto, 62, was charged with murder and murder during the commission of a burglary in the 1989 killing of Mauricio Cuadra, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced Thursday May 28.
Quiros-Soto was arrested Wednesday, May 27, at his home in Griffin, Georgia, by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office, according to prosecutors. He remains detained in Georgia pending extradition to New Jersey, authorities said.
