Police: Verplanck Pair Stayed Overnight In Watergate Motel Without Paying VERPLANCK, N.Y. -- A pair of Verplanck women who snuck into the Watergate Motel in Croton-on-Hudson and spent the night a couple of times in December, were caught on Monday after the motel called the New York State Police to complain. Sarah Pisanelli, 19, and Carrie F. Roberts, 23, were charged with two counts of criminal trespass after an investigation by troopers revealed the duo had stayed overnight at the motel in Croton-on-Hudson, without permission or paying on two occasions, said state police. Both were arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and released on their own recognizance.…

Brewster Teen Accused Of Having Sex With Girl, 13, Whom He Met On Facebook BREWSTER, N.Y. -- A Brewster man has been charged with the rape of a 13-year-old girl he met on Facebook and for sending her nude pictures, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Christian Salazar-Miguel, 18, was arrested on Dec. 21, in the Town of Carmel following an investigation into a sexual assault that had allegedly occurred at his residence in the Village of Brewster, sheriff's official said. Mahopac Woman Charged With Bail Jumping PUTNAM, N.Y. -- A Mahopac woman was nabbed for bail jumping a month after she failed to show up in court on drug charges, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Kerry A. Massi, 53, was first arrested in August after members of the sheriff's department Narcotics Enforcement Unit charged her with the possession and sale of medication oxycodone, deputies said. She was held in the Putnam County Correctional Facility until she posted $5,000 bail. On Nov. 14, Massi was scheduled to appear in court but failed to show up. Poughkeepsie Man Fails To Appear On Drug Charges POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man found himself behind bars after failing to show up in court to face drug charges, according to the Town of Lloyd Police. Joshua Peterson, 23, was arrested Thursday, Dec. 15, on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court, said Lt. James Janso. Peterson was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and is being held at the Ulster County Jail on $5,000 bail or $20,000 insurance bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 29.
