Annual Yonkers Riverfest To Offer Live Music, Family Fun, Food
YONKERS, N.Y. – The largest free family festival in Westchester County is to return to Yonkers' downtown waterfront on Saturday, Sept. 10.
This year’s Riverfest is scheduled from noon – 7 p.m. and is expected to draw more than 25,000 people, according to organizers.
The festival is to feature food, exhibitions, tours and a host of performers, including three headline bands that each are to bring “something special” to the event.

2016 SeptemberFest Coming To Streets Of Nyack
NYACK, N.Y. -- The village of Nyack has scheduled its SeptemberFest Street Fair for 10 a.m. on Sept. 11, according to the Nyack Chamber of Commerce.
The event, which runs until 5 p.m., is scheduled to block off downtown Nyack at Main Street and Broadway to allow more than 300 vendors to display their products, according to the Chamber.
Art, jewelry, clothing, crafts, home decor, international food and a host of other street fair items are expected to be available for purchase.

RAMAPO, N.Y. – The town of Ramapo recently hired a certified public accountant with decades of experience to oversee its bookkeeping, according to lohud.com.
John W. Shake Shack To Open By December, Darien Landowner Says
DARIEN, Conn. – The owner of 1340 Post Road in Darien has said that a Shake Shack will be opening at the site before the end of the year, according to the Darien Times.
David Genovese, owner Baywater Properties, said construction on the delayed Shake Shack project would begin this month, according to the Darien Times.
