Yorktown Teens Are Finalists in Westchester Teen Idol 2016
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Four Yorktown teens have been named as finalists in the Westchester Teen Idol 2016 competition.
Madison Batinelli, Maddy Ferri, Arlene Flanders and Danielle Gerbasi are among the final group of 25 contestants who will compete at the Irvington Town Hall Theater on Nov. 26, according to a statement from PMT Productions, which runs the competition.
The competition, set to begin at 7:30 p.m., is to be judged by Tony-nominated, "American Idol" finalist Constantine Maroulis, Broadway performer Angela Decicco and the Taconic Opera's Dan Montez.

Motorist In Yorktown Crash Had Suspended License, Police Say
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Carmel man is due in Yorktown Town Court next month to answer to a charge that he crashed a car while driving with a suspended driver's license, according to authorities.
Carlos Priego, 21, of 356 Shear Hill Road, is believed to have been driving near the intersection of East Main and Perry streets when the crash occurred about 11:25 a.m. on Nov. 5, according to police.
