Man Charged With Stealing Car, Leading Police On Chase Through Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – A suspect accused of stealing the car of an off-duty Waterbury cop and leading Stamford officers in a pursuit through the city last month has been arrested, police said.
Jaquan Dilday, 21, of Waterbury, was arrested Monday, Oct. 12, and charged with second-degree larceny, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit and interfering with police in the incident Sept. 28, police said.
His bail was set at $150,000, police say.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Lorraine Schoen, of Fairfield, died Monday, Oct. 12. She was 88.
She is survived by husband, John F. Burnett Jr.
Schoen was bornFeb. 24, 1927, in Danbury and spent her entire youth in Danbury. Her father was George J. Schoen, the first police chief in Danbury's history, and her mother was Helena McCarthy. She graduated from Danbury High School in 1944, where she was a cheerleader and basketball player.
Schoen had two brothers and a sister who predeceased her.
