ORANGETOWN, N.Y. --.The Blauvelt, recording studio where Bruce Spingsteen, and other rock idols, recorded their famous hits will get an historic sign marker, according to lohud.com. Fair Lawn Will Lay Wreaths For Vets, Collect Toys For Tots
FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Fair Lawn will participate with hundreds of other communities nationwide in laying wreaths in hor of veterans and active duty military personnel on Dec. 12. There will also be a dropoff point during Wreaths Across America Day beginning at noon at the Veterans Memorial and flagpole at Borough Hall on Fair Lawn Avenue. "Hundreds of thousands of wreaths are donated and placed on graves and memorials to our veterans all across the nation, with Arlington National Cemetery as the center point," Mayor John Cosgrove said.
