Speaker Discusses Job Teaching Refugees With Bronxville Students BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- A visiting speaker who taught English to refugee children in the Middle East talked to middle-schoolers at The Chapel School in Bronxville about her experiences during a Dec. 2 assembly.The woman can speak three languages and has visited 29 countries. Two Divisions Blend Into One Travel Company In Bronxville BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- After a 15-year stint in Larchmont, Bayside Travel has moved its offices to Bronxville.The move was aimed to combine the offices of Bayside Travel with its Gramatan Travel division, which has been in Bronxville since the 1950s.  Gramatan Travel will now be known as Bayside Travel.  All 40 of the Bayside Travel advisers now will operate out of the Bronxville office. The agency is part of the Virtuoso network and offers custom luxury travel experiences and concierge services.  The new location is 69 Pondfield Road.

Man Charged With DWI After Failing To Maintain Route 22 Lane DOVER, N.Y. -- Police charged a Dover man with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 22 on Tuesday, according to New York state police. Police stopped Gregg C. Graham, 48, on Route 22 for allegedly failing to maintain his designated lane of travel, they said. Graham failed subsequent standardized field sobriety testing and was placed under arrest, police said. Graham gave a positive breath sample that revealed a blood alcohol content of .08 percent, according to police.
