Wing Wars Coming To Poughkeepsie POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Hudson Valley Wing Competition returns Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie. Arc Of Dutchess Brings Snow Ball To Poughkeepsie POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The snowstorm did not prevent a crowd from attending the the Dutchess Snow Ball in Poughkeepsie.The fundraiser supports the Arc of Dutchess that serves more than 900 people with developmental disabilities and their families in Dutchess County. Dr. Roger A. Fazzone who is President of the Maplebrook School was honoree. He received the Catherine Seeberger Citizenship Award for championing initiatives for those in need. Owner of Danbury Flooring Company Gets Prison Time For Tax Evasion DANBURY, Conn. — The owner of a Danbury flooring company was sentenced to prison time for tax evasion, according to Deirdre M. Daly, U.S. attorney for Connecticut. David Benincasa, 35, of Danbury, was sentenced Monday, Jan. 25 by U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny in Hartford to three months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release. During that time, he must spend six months in home confinement. Chatigny also ordered Benincasa to pay a $15,000 fine and perform 120 hours of community service. His brother was already sentenced in connection with the scheme. Court documents …
