Connecticut Gas Prices Drop As National Numbers Bump Up
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- As average gas prices continue to drop in Connecticut, the national average has bumped up four cents since last week, according to AAA’s weekly survey. Monday's national price of a gallon of gas averaged $1.75, 6 cents lower than last month and 65 cents lower than last year, AAA said. But compared with last week, prices inched up 4 cents.
In Connecticut, where prices continue to drop, the average price of $1.86 per gallon was 13 cents lower than last month and 59 cents lower than last year, AAA said. Compared to last week, the price Monday hasn't moved.
