63 Teachers Will Get Six-Figure Salaries In Proposed Weston Budget WESTON, Conn. -- Sixty-three full-time teachers in Weston will make salaries in excess of $100,000 in 2016-17, while 62 additional teachers will earn in excess of $90,000, according to the Weston Forum. The salaries are covered by the total value of $31 million for school officials, teachers and support personnel, the town's Board of Education is requesting, said the Weston Forum. Controversy Brewing Regarding Stratford Beavers STRATFORD, Conn. -- Flooding at Stratford's Roosevelt Forest because of a beaver colony has led to controversy among locals trying to fix the problem, reported the Connecticut Post.There is opposition to a Stratford-supported idea to trap and kill the animals, a decision voted on by the Roosevelt Forest Commission and supported by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, said the Connecticut Post.
