Reading Areas At Yorktown Elementary Schools Memorialize Former Teacher YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Reading areas at two Yorktown elementary schools have been dedicated to the memory of a former teacher in a June ceremony.Brookside and Mohansic elementary schools now have outdoor areas to read and honor the memory of Carole Jacobson who died in 2015.
