DeMarco regularly lectures at a graduate course in media relations at Fairleigh Dickinson University and previously was an adjunct professor at Lehman College in the Bronx.

He has a Bachelor's Degree in English from St. Peter's University in Jersey City.

Remember Rosie's Diner? You Don't Want To See It Now Those saddened to see what used to be Rosie’s Diner carted away hoped the vintage greasy spoon would be cared for once it left what used to be the Little Ferry Circle on Route 46.  Didn’t turn out that way. Not only is the diner that was made famous in a TV commercial for the “quicker picker-upper” gone. So is its beauty. The tale can be told through the exploits of different people. George DenHerder is among those who’ve visited Rosie’s Farmland Diner at its current address in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Carlstadt native went there carrying decades-old memories of his mom dropping him …

Sub-Zero Tolerance: FAA Tightens COVID Mask Policy, Fines Up To $35,000, Even Jail Time As the number of unruly airline passengers -- and notable incidents -- continues to grow, the FAA announced that it's doubling down on its zero-tolerance COVID mask policy. “The policy directs our safety inspectors and attorneys to take strong enforcement action against any passenger who disrupts or threatens the safety of a flight, with penalties ranging from fines to jail time,” FAA Administrator Steve Dickson said. “The number of cases we’re seeing is still far too high and it tells us urgent action continues to be required," he said. Since December, the Federal Aviation Administration …

Seth Levine, 52, told a U.S. District Court judge in Newark via teleconference that he and others pocketed cash they received by illegally refinancing 70 multi-family buildings containing nearly 2,500 apartments. Levine said he lied on refinancing applications about the rents collected, the number of apartments leased, expenses and the true owners of the complex, Acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Rachael A. Barton Schack, 65, of Ringwood, told a federal judge in Newark this week that he helped the other participant fraudulently secure a massive commercial mortgage loan by lying about how many tenants were in a network of medical office buildings used as collateral and how much rent they’d paid, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said. The pair then pocketed millions of dollars in rent from the properties -- which …
